     LWVSC Tree Campaign. This is a program of work with three parts: 

  • We advocate for a new urban tree policy to be adopted into the Snohomish County Comprehensive Plan Update. 
  • We educate with webinars. Our two most recent will be available on our website soon. 
  • We partner - we have begun a project with the Delta Neighborhood Association in Everett to plant trees on private property.

 Kate is Past President of the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County and a member of the Natural Resources Committee. She has lived in                Snohomish County for twenty-three years. She is retired from being a Certified Property Manager in commercial real estate and owner of a small                      business. Her volunteer work in League has taught her the importance of being an activist with local government and the joy of building relationships.
